I spent a pleasant week giving a workshop on EEAI, Experimental Electro-Acoustic Improvisation at DIEM, Dansk Institut for Elektronisk Musik (Denmark’s National Center of Electronic Music ) during Feb. 13 – 19. Wayne Siegel, professor at Royal Academy of Music Århus invited me there.
I met many talented students and we did a wonderful concert on Thursday evening at one of the halls of Music House. I now know that the coming Music House in Helsinki is a COPY of the one in Århus. The architecture, its concept, shared by orchestra and music academy, even similarity of their locations. Except the one in Århus houses also theaters.
Today’s radio show, Feb. 20, introduces music by one of the students who came to participate in the workshop: Niklas Adam. He gave me this beautiful green vinyl. No idea what’s on it. Let’s listen to it.
