Dear listeners,
In order to celebrate the last show of this year today, I will play my solo guitar piece called “For Topias“, that I composed for Topias Tiheäsalo, one of the extra ordinal free improvisers in Finland. It was premiered and recorded live at Helsinki Guitar Festival, on October 31, 2008 at the lobby of Finnish Academy of Fine Arts. Topias interpreted my score 50 minutes long in deep concentration. The recording engineer is Jon-Patrik Kuhlefelt. Enjoy!
I will be, during January 2010, in Germany, in Karlsruhe at ZKM the center for art and media to compose a piece, “The World of Coulur” with my custom made colored noises for 39 channels sphere/surround system. More info, check my website: silakka.fi
HAPPY WINTER !

The Nov. 17 Silakka radio show is dedicated to IKIHEVONEN (Eternal Horse in Finnish), the greatest post rock, psychedelic garage band from Finland. The band members are Antti Ruuhela, Kalle Leino and Anders Bergman, all of whom are graduates of Finnish Academy of Fine Arts and the finest artists.
SILAKKA Productions produced early this year their debut album. If you would like to buy the album (CD), visit the shopping page.
I am not stupid to put the whole songs here, but just one as a demo. The rest, get the CD!
And here are some reviews. Prog Archives
