100,3MHz Lähiradio

100,3MHz FM Lähiradio was founded 1988, is one of very rare two community radio stations (Non commercial) in Finland (the other one is located in Turku). The frequency is 100,3MHz and covers metropolitan Helsinki area, around 50 – 60Km circle. Here is the transmitter map. The radio station is backed up by Ministry of Education. Currently there are 2 studios by 2 organizations: KaRa, Kansan Radioliitto (National Radio Association) and Folkhälsan. More information could be found here, though it is written in Finnish.
